In recognition of the fact that community radio sector needs are chnaging, and to reflect the vast xpertise within the sector, this year's event will focus on "Sharing Skills for Sucess".

"So You Wanna Fill Out a Community Radio Application Form"
Radio Regen hosted a one-day event at Manchester College of Arts & Technology during which would-be licence holders from across the UK spent the day brainstorming about their applications. "Towards a Toolkit for Community Radio"
This two-day conference that kick-started many community radio groups into action. The event featured some intensive and inspirational workshops. Other highlights included two views of global community radio presented by Zane Ibrahim of South Africa and Craig Liddell discussing Australia's Bush radio. Other speakers included Ivan Lewis MP, Minister for Lifelong Learning, Soo Williams of OFCOM, and Professor Anthony Everrit, evaluator of the Access Radio Pilot Scheme for the Radio Authority.
