Foundation Degree Radio Production
Course structure
The course is on 2 levels, with six modules on each. Most of the modules in Level 1 are based at Radio Regen in Manchester City Centre, while Level 2 is taught at MANCAT's One Central Park Campus.

Prepares you for higher education-level study, introducing you to key topics and helping you to gain an overview of the subject.

Work experience
Significant work-based learning is an integral part of the course work and through our links with companies working in the area you will gain valuable work experience.
Teaching, learning and assessment
Assessment on all courses is by a mixture of a portfolio of evidence, coursework and audio files. The precise mix is dependent on what modules you choose.
Career opportunities
The opportunities for graduates are extremely varied and include radio, journalism, podcasting, audio production and multimedia sectors. Some graduates who complete the third year top-up will go on to study for postgraduate diplomas or degrees.
