Artransmit

Using popular art forms, Radio Regen's innovative Artransmit endeavoured to boost creativity in regeneration areas of Manchester with radio soap, performance,, poetry and rap workshops.

Beatslam

Themed "MC as poet, MC as reporter”, the Beatslam project encouraged Manchester and Salford teenagers to use MCing to talk about their lives via a series of workshops at youth centres.

Moss Side & Hulme FM

Moss Side & Hulme FM gave a voice to this previously troubled urban area of Manchester aiming to promote "Unity in the Community" and dispel the "Gunchester" image.

Remix the Streets

Remix the Streets gave over 150 Manchester teenagers an opportunity to produce their own radio shows - complete with interviews, jingles and features alongside tunes and MCing.

The Salford Project

More than 1,500 people took part in Radio Regen's Salford Project, which worked to ready the area to bid for full-time community radio licences. It created a pool of skilled volunteer broadcasters and enthused listeners neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
