Programme facilities
For each of our courses we supply the following equipment with which everybody on the courses can use.
Studio one
Within the studio we have 1 RPL Radionet Studio Console, Adobe Audition, 3 Sony MD decks, 2 Denon CD decks and a 2 Technics turntables with a DJ mixer. It also includes 4 Audio Technica and Shure studio microphones and a guest debate area.
Studio two
In this studio we have Soundcraft RM105 Studio Console, Adobe Audition and Myriad Playout on a dual screen set up. The studio also has 2 CDs, 1 MD, Audio Technica and Rode condenser microphones and a small guest area.
Production suite one
Within this production suite we have 18 PCs with Windows 7 Enterprise, Adobe Audition, Microsoft Office, CD burning facilties and full internet access. Each PC has external speakers and headphones with a convenient USB port.
Production suite two
Within the second production suite we have 15 iMac dual boot Mac OSX Pro Tools 7 LE / Windows Vista Business PCs with Adobe Audition 3, Pro Tools, Microsoft Word, Nero CD Burning ROM and full internet access. Each PC has external speakers linked to Pro Tools Pre-Amp and headphones. They also have convenient USB ports.
Portable recording
We have many different pieces of equipment with which to record whilst on the move. We have a quanity of Sony mini disc portable recorders with Audio-Technica microphones. Several Roland Edirol, Zoom and Marantz portable digital recorders with Audio-Technica microphones.
